How to Appeal For Loan HESLB 2025/2026
Steps to appeal
1. Check your allocation result
Log into your account via the Student’s Individual Permanent Account (SIPA) on the HESLB portal. See whether you’ve been allocated a loan and if the amount is less than you expected.
2. Wait for the appeal window to open
HESLB announce a specific period during which appeals are accepted for the 2025/2026 year the Bachelor’s Degree loan appeal window is 10–17 November 2025.
3. Access the online appeal form
Inside your SIPA account, there will be an “Appeal for Loan” section. Submit your appeal via the online form.
4. Fill out the form and attach supporting documents
• Explain clearly why you are appealing (e.g., financial need changed, error in your application, incomplete data).
• Upload supporting documents such as income proof, medical certificates, parental/guardian death certificate (if relevant), admission letter, etc.
5. Submit before deadline
Make sure you submit the appeal within the window. Late submissions are usually not accepted.
6. Track your appeal status
After submission, keep checking your SIPA account or the HESLB portal for updates. If you have questions you can contact HESLB’s call centre.

Important notes & tips
No appeal fee (for recent cycles) – For the 2025/2026 Bachelor’s Degree it states that “the appeal process will not attract any additional cost”.
Make sure your original application data was correct (family income, academic status, etc). If something was entered wrongly, mention it in your appeal.
Attach full evidence. An appeal with missing documents is less likely to succeed.
Submit early. Don’t wait until the last minute.
