CSEE RESULTS 2024: NECTA Established by law in 1973, NECTA is a government organization tasked with conducting Tanzania’s national exams. Following Mainland Tanzania’s withdrawal from the East African Examinations Council in 1971, the Curriculum and Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education was responsible for administering all national exams prior to 1973. NECTA assumed this duty after its establishment, but curriculum-related matters were still managed by the Ministry of Education and the University College in Dar es Salaam until 1975, when the Institute of Curriculum Development (ICD), an independent organization, was founded. In 1993, it changed its name to the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE).
CSEE RESULTS 2024: This is an achievement test offered to candidates who have completed four years of secondary education CSEE is administered in the first week of November every year , The objectives of this examination are: to assess students’ skills and knowledge achieved in different subjects at secondary school; to determine the extent to which the students can use the skills gained to solve social, political, economic and technological challenges for their individual development and national development at large; to identify students with the capacity to proceed to the advanced secondary school level or join training institutions. A holder of CSEE is expected to be able to apply their knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation skills in a broad range of activities.
CSEE RESULTS 2024: The first NECTA workers were hired between 1972 and 1976, including Mr. P. P. Gandye, who was hired in 1972 and made Executive Secretary in 1994. After NECTA’s offices were moved from the Ministry of Education’s headquarters to their current location in Kijitonyama, near Mwenge, recruitment of more staff proceeded. The organization currently employs over 350 people.

Eligibility of Candidates who Seat for the CSEE Examination
CSEE RESULTS 2024:Any student who has passed the Form Two National Assessment or Qualifying Test and finished four years of secondary education in both government and accredited private schools is eligible to take the test. Additionally eligible are repeaters of the same exam who are registered as private candidates.
Examined Subjects/Courses For CSEE Examination
CSEE RESULTS 2024: Civics, History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Biology, and Basic Mathematics are the seven core disciplines that all CSEE candidates must take. The following subjects are available to candidates: Building Construction, Architectural Draughting, Surveying, Carpentry and Joinery, Brickwork and Masonry, Painting and Sign Writing, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering Science, Radio and Television Servicing, Electrical Draughting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Plant and Equipment Maintenance, Workshop Technology, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Welding and Metal Fabrication, Fitting and Turning, Auto Electric, Mechanical Draughting, and Foundry and Blacksmith. Alternatively, candidates may choose to take two more courses from the natural sciences (Physics and Chemistry), Business subjects (Commerce and Book Keeping), or Home Economics subjects (Food and Nutrition and Textile and Dress Making). One optional subject may be taken by them.
CSEE RESULTS 2024: They may take one optional subject among the following: Bible Knowledge, Islamic Religion, Fine Art, Music, Physical Education, French Language, Literature in English, Arabic Language, Agricultural Science, Information and Computer Studies and Additional Mathematics. No CSEE candidate shall register for more than ten subjects in one sitting.
