Preferred Diploma Programs for HESLB Loans 2025
The Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) is a body corporate established under Act No.9 of 2004 (as amended in 2007, 2014 and 2016) with the objective of assisting needy and eligible Tanzania students to access loans and grants for higher education.
Certain diploma programs have been identified by the Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) as priority areas for loan distribution in the 2023–2024 academic year. The six programs listed below have been identified:
- Health and Related Sciences
- Teaching and Education
- Logistics & Transportation
- Earth science, mining, and energy engineering
- Livestock and Agriculture
Priority is given to these programs in order to assist students who are pursuing careers that are thought to be crucial for both economic and national development.
