Job Opportunities at Plan International Tanzania Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan has over 80 years’ experience and works in more than 75 countries across the world. We strive for a just world, working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners.

Plan International has been working in Tanzania since 1991. Our work supports marginalised children and youth, especially adolescent girls, to grow up physically and mentally healthy and ready to shape their future. We create an enabling environment and empower girls to be active drivers of change in realising their rights. We prioritise working with partners, and ensuring all of our work is evidence based.

Plan International Tanzania, Nkasi PU has started its operation in March 2016 and currently sponsorship projects implementing in five wards, as result of the process of Plan Tanzania phase out from existing areas and phase in new areas is driven by the ambition of being in the areas where the rights violations facing children are greatest, poverty is acute & donor interest is significant.

Desirable:

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
  • Disciplined, Punctual, Reliable, Resilience and Patience.
  • Familiarity with rough-roads and remote areas.
  • Strong ability to ensure control safety and security of vehicles.
  • Strong negotiation, facilitating and influencing skills

This position requires a lot of field travels; 70% field work and 30% office.
